No, nilagang manok is different from tinola, although really, they&#039;re just both boiled chicken. I use ginger in my tinola too and either green papaya or sayote and dahon ng sili for the the veggies. I don&#039;t use bigas washing though, unlike you. I don&#039;t even like the idea!  Alam mo naman ang bigas dito-- exposed to the elements. ;)

So when are you coming back? Are you anywhere near seeing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?
